Yes.  Finished my Smash-up in the spring. My amp is a Haffler 220 powering a set of Magnepan’s. The Maggies are not very efficient and I’m not ready to get rid of them yet, so I haven’t changed out the power.  Con’s: I haven’t heard any that I can list, other than the sound may not be as smooth as with all tubes. But I do enjoy it tremendously and it’s a marked improvement over the Haffler 110 I  previously had. Pro’s: the sound stage is improved, I was always fiddling with placement of the Maggies to get a proper sound stage, not anymore, and the stage placement  is much more distinct. Highs are cleaner and crisper. Dynamics are more realistic. And it just makes me want to listen to more. If you have inefficient speakers, it’s a good way to go.

In my opinion.

If you are using a solid state amp, a tube line stage is the way to go.
 I have the Smash prototype and I  occasionally use it with a Pass F4 or F5 clone and it works well...John
