How hot do these get? Do you need a lot of space around the amp for airflow?
Thanks,
Tim

Yes, you need a couple inches all around any tube amp.

Thanks! I am planning to put this (or whatever I come up with) on the bottom shelf of my stereo cabinet. The opening on my bottom self is 18" wide x 15" deep x 11" high.
I was potentially looking at a Dynaco ST-70 or ST-35, but suspect they generate too much heat to put into a cabinet.
I will pair this with a Mapletree Ultra pre amp to a pair of Fritz Carbon 7 speakers:
Frequency Response: 39Hz-20Khz +/- 3 db
Impedance: 8 Ohms nominal
Sensitivity: 87 db (1 Watt, 2.83 V @ 1 Meter).
Any thoughts on how well the Seductor would work? Any other suggestions / power amps you'd recommend?
Note also that I will need to find a builder as well.
Thanks again,

Hello Tim,
You can e-mail me at pb(at)bottlehead(dot)com about assembly.
How large is your room and how loudly do you listen (and what kind of music). On paper, your speakers might be more in the territory of bridged Seductors or Kaiju territory, however we have plenty of happy customers running the 2A3 Stereomour with 87dB sensitive speakers.

Thanks.
I primarily listen to classical, blues, and classic rock. All at relatively low volumes, typically less than 80db.
My room is a living room that opens into a dining room. It is ~15 wide by ~30 feet long, with vinyl flooring (looks like wood).

You'll have adequate headroom with a Seductor if 80dB is your typical listening level, but the Stereomour will clip more gracefully and provide even more headroom, which you may find quite helpful.
