Title: Oppo HA2-SE DAC, Crack and HD650s?

Folks, am hoping to purchase a Crack & Speedball to bring some life into my HD650s which are sadly underwhelming with my Oppo HA2-SE (DAC and Amp). This is connected by USB to a MacBook for my iTunes library.

I’d like to continue to use the Oppo DAC from the MacBook but bypass it’s amp with the line out into the Crack.

Any comments on this? Anything I might be missing with this setup that you can advise on. Thanks in advance.

This should work really well.   Most often you will find that the headphone outputs on digital equipment are limited by the power supply voltage available, so they don't match that well with high impedance headphones.
