I've had the stereomour with upgrades for about a year. I have both hi efficiency speakers (Altec Valencias) and low efficiency speakers as well. It sounds very good with the Valencias, and to my surprise it also sounds excellent with my 88db Ohm C2s. In a smaller(12x15) spare room, I've found it shows remarkable punch and character, especially bass response, bringing realism and presence especially to favorite rock recordings. Contrary to conventional wisdom, in my settings, I think I may be enjoying its character even more in relative near-field with the 'lo-efficiency' Ohms..., one users experience, of course ymmv.
