Title: Barely high voltage on Low Current C4S
Post by: cmilleville on October 15, 2018, 11:07:24 AM
Hi, bought my crack-a-two-a in the spring, didn't have time to work on it much all summer and also it took way longer to build this thing than I anticipated but it was kind of fun so no problems there.

Everything is checking out very nicely, voltages all very close to where they should be except the voltage on OB on the low current C4S board is reading 90.7V. The manual says it's supposed to be 60-90V and I figured this probably isn't a big deal but wanted to check in. I double checked my solder joints and reheated a few on the board just in case, but they all look good and it didn't change when I checked again.

Will it be a problem that it's barely high? Could it just be the tubes?

That's just fine.
