Title: OT Primary Wiring
Post by: Jamier on March 22, 2019, 07:28:30 AM
I am assembling a small push pull tube amp. With respect to the OT wiring path, should the B+ Supply be seperated from the plate wires, as far as possible, or should it be twisted together with the plate wires in the run to the OT?

I'd post up pictures of how you have things laid out.  Is the output stage ultra-linear?

PB,

It's not U/L. The OT path is coming out of a PCB and to a terminal block next to the OT. I am using the terminal block to facilitate ease of removal for changes/mods, so that may negate any noise controlling measures, like twisting, but I need the quick and easy removal that the term block provides.I assume that if it was U/L I should twist the plate and screen wires together? The PS is a simple CRC and the OT B+ comes off the reservoir cap, so I figured it might still have a lot of ripple.
