Title: Output Transformer Impedance

Hi all,

For speakers with a nominal 5.9 ohm impedance, am I right in assuming that I want to configure the output transformers for 4 ohm output impedance, instead of 8 ohm output impedance?

Yes, though you could definitely try both.
