Title: PT-10 Wiring [Resolved]
Post by: Darkblade48 on June 29, 2020, 04:31:21 PM
Hello everyone,

I am finally starting to wire up the power transformer for the SEX, and have just finished measuring the wall AC (122.5V)

I am following the part where the PT-10 is being wired, with > 115 VAC, but < 130 VAC.

There is a part that states:
Quote
Attach the red wire from the shielded twisted pair to terminal 13 of the PT-10 power transformer. Attach the black wire to terminal 18 of the PT-10 power transformer.

Regarding the "black wire" - is this the black wire that is coming off the Neutral point of the IEC plug? The black wire from the shielded twisted pair was connected to the Live point of the IEC plug in a previous step, so this seems like the only logical assumption, but you know what they say about assumptions :)

Yes, that is correct. The black wire is connected to the neutral terminal on the IEC module.

As usual, I have to thank you profusely for your speedy replies, Paul.

You must get e-mail notifications or something everytime I have a stupid question!  :)
