Hello-
I am very new to this, so you will have to excuse me if this is a stupid question.
I'm in "Building the High Voltage Supply" page 28/29. Page 28, in the middle the manual says "Attach and solder the black wire to 45L"
Page 29: "Attach the unbanded end of the bent UF4007 rectifier diode to 45L. Attach the banded end to 47L. Solder 45L"
I should be able to solder 45L twice? Or is this a typo and I need to get out my solder wick?
thanks

That does indeed appear to be a typo. I'm not so sure you need the solder wick though, I would just heat up the joint and slide the leads in.

Thanks Paul. Same issue with 44L. Not really great for this beginner, and not pretty, but I figured it out

I let the manual editor know so we can get that corrected ASAP. Thanks for the help!

Paul-
Another issue- page 33 first step: "Route the wire underneath the shielded twisted pair wire along the 5-lug"...
What wire is supposed to be shielded twisted pair? Going through the manual before this I do not see any instructions designating using such wire.
thanks

Man, you are catching all the bugs and the Reduction has been out for a while! We might need to put you on the payroll...

I'm not done :D
I work a pretty technical field. Doing this project is a busman's holiday for me
