Hi, I am building an Eros and are there specific stores where I should buy additional parts (specifically the Dale 470k ohm resistor 4703f)? I accidentally used the 4703f where I was supposed to use a 4702f so clipped the ends and can no longer use the 4703f in the appropriate place. So I need to buy 2 more of them. But not sure if any 470k ohm resistor will work or if some have better quality than others.
Thanks
Bryan

Strip back a piece of wire and solder it onto the resistor to make it longer.
Failing that i am sure BH will help you out if you email them..

Digikey is the place to go for these types of products. Great prices too. I could not find Dale resistors at 470K ohms, but I was able to find another manufacturer. I'll link below.
470K ohms resistors = https://www.digikey.com/en/products/detail/yageo/CFR-25JB-52-470K/2210
My Google searches could not really turn up any Dale 470K ohm resistors for sale other than on Ebay. It's not that I don't trust the sellers, but they are only selling them in bulk (pack 100+ for $30).

+1
Edit: but if you need to replace it b/c there's not enough lead left to solder to, or you simply prefer to replace it, you can order it online here: http://www.mouser.com/Vishay/Passive-Components/Resistors/Film-Resistors/Metal-Film-Resistors-Through-Hole/RN-Series/_/N-7gz41Z1yzvvqx?P=1yzbpodZ1z0wkq1Z1yzbppyZ1z0wjc0Z1yzveaxZ1z0zls5Z1z0yhc6&Keyword=4703f&FS=True (http://www.mouser.com/Vishay/Passive-Components/Resistors/Film-Resistors/Metal-Film-Resistors-Through-Hole/RN-Series/_/N-7gz41Z1yzvvqx?P=1yzbpodZ1z0wkq1Z1yzbppyZ1z0wjc0Z1yzveaxZ1z0zls5Z1z0yhc6&Keyword=4703f&FS=True)
Note: you'll need to choose between 1/4W and 1/2W - I'm not sure which one the Eros uses. But you can always use a 1/2W in place of a 1/4 (but not the other way around).
You could also try calling an electronics hobbyist shop, if there's one near you, to see if they have it in stock -- if they do you won't need pay 20X the purchase price for shipping.
cheers, Derek

Mouser is my first go to.

thanks for the quick responses! I will try soldering on a piece of wire first. If that doesn't work then I'll go to mouser and find the right one to order.
