Doc,PB,PJ,
Not having read my copy of Electronics for Dummies could you tell me the purpose for the 220 ohm resistor at the output #2 (or is it) #1 . Does this have to do with output impedance adjustment for bi amping or for sub woofer connection?

It's possible that a little resistance between the outputs could help to prevent interactions between the components you may have connected to each output. Having said that, I've never actually run into this as a problem, but we use the resistors anyway. It also makes the jacks much easier to wire together.

Paul,
Thank you for your answer. So in effect it could benefit in the implementation of bi amping ?

It certainly won't hurt if you're biamping.
