Title: c4s voltage requirement
Post by: vanofmonks on March 09, 2021, 09:28:14 AM
I have misplaced my c4s kit document, so does anyone know what the minimum voltage drop across the c4s?

Thanks

I think you'd want at least 5V, but the voltage needed across the C4S depends a whole lot more on what you're doing with it.

Thanks.  That should be ok then.  It is in a low voltage setup of 40v with a vfet at 6ma.  The vfet + cathode bias should be about 19 to 20v which would leave 20v for the c4s voltage drop and the voltage swing.  if it is only 5v it should leave plenty.
