Title: Moreplay VDC reading out of range
Post by: Freddyhoule on April 05, 2021, 05:17:42 AM
Everything worked well until page 38. The reading of the voltage shows 334 VDC. I checked all my soldering and they seem to be OK. Is it still within a safe range? If not, is there an other way than redo every solder to solve my problem ?  Please note that I'm a total newbee. I dont know if it can be of any help, but the AC reading done at the beginning was 123.

334 is kind of high, but if your line voltage is wandering high it may not be the end of the world.  I think you could continue with the build, but it might be a good idea to post some build photos so we can see what you have going on to be sure everything looks OK.

I would do a lot more trimming, especially with those leads that are wrapped around the sides of the terminals.
