Just posting this to showcase my new build. Electronics are stock crack+ speedball. I used oak from a locally cut tree and planed it to thickness. I opted not to use the kit-included alder because I needed to use an open grained wood for effect. I painted the top panel burgundy enamel and sprayed a catalyzed automotive clear coat followed by wet sanding, cutting, and buffing for a high gloss luster. I'm happy with how it looks but ecstatic about how it sounds. This little beast totally transformed my 650's.

Beautiful build! I love what you did with the wood!

Really nice detailing. Great job! I built mine back in 2014 and while it doesn't look as nice, how it handles an audio signal never ceases to amaze! Enjoy!

@Ross, @Mucker Thanks!

Lovely, and very different in a cool way!

For you to say you're happier with the sound than the looks--given how beautiful your build's aesthetic is--says it all. The Crack is a sonic marvel. Enjoy your amp!
