Title: Speedball upgrade problem [resolved]
Post by: luczamic on September 04, 2021, 09:21:02 PM
Hi Guys,

I need a little help with applying the speedball upgrade to crack. I've built the crack and it's working fine. I decided to go and add a speedball upgrade. All seemed to go well, the small circuit board passed the testing all LED are lit (see photo)

The large circuit board on the other hand is not passing the voltage test. B+ has around 220V and should have 170-195, OA fluctuates a lot -2 - + 40mV, OB is around 151V and G fluctuates between 2-18 mV. Only the lower two LED's are on, the two on the top don't work.

any ideas where I should look?

Tried resoldering the large board again, but it didn't change anything...

Thanks
Michal

Can you show us the bottom side of the big Speedball board?  Are the voltages still OK on the small board?

Hi Paul,

Thanks for your replay. In the meantime I figured that the soldering I did was little messy, so today I got myself a few extra tools and decided the redo most of the speedball upgrade. And surprise, surprise everything is working fine. 🤦‍♂️
Thanks again for your time :)

Have a nice day!
