Title: Integration - need help with voltage [resolved]
Post by: Kris on September 07, 2021, 05:30:34 AM
Hi,

I finally installed Integration upgrade and all voltages after shunt regulator were on the spot.
After C4S install though, I got 106VDC on terminal 2 (should be 65-90VDC). Other voltages on terminal 18, 26 and 31 are perfect. Also, two LEDs on A side of C4S board close to A socket don't lit.
Please help.

Thank you,
Kris

If you swap the tubes, does that high voltage move to the other side of your Reduction?

Yes, it does. Thank you Paul. I guess I shouldn't be using this tube anymore.
Off to ebay then.

Many thanks again,
Kris

If the tube is super new, it can help to let it run for a few days to cook in.

We have found especially with Russian tubes, even brand new out of the box ones, that the plate voltage in a circuit like the Reduction or even the Crack will start out pretty high and not settle to proper levels until roughly 50-100 hours of use.

I had this tube in my lightly used stock reduction for about two years, so I guess it's just going bed.
