Title: What type of metal is the stock top plate made of?
Post by: axtran on December 08, 2021, 11:26:24 AM
Does anyone happen to know what the stock Crack-a-two-a plate is made of? I was wondering polishing mine, but I am also tempted to just get it plated so it's as shiny as possible.  8)

They are usually 5052 aluminum.  I would suggest a chrome look powder coating.

That's chrome powder coat I shot on the transformer bell end. Pretty shiny stuff.
