Title: Cut both ends of drain wire by accident!

Hi,   

Whilst building my S.E.X Kit i accidentally cut both ends of the drain wire off of the power input wire (324mm)
shielded twisted pair cable. I wanted to ask if it was possible to pull the drain cable through the long end to reveal 13mm of drain cable
as the short end drain cable is cut off flush and not connected to anything?

Yes, you can slide a bit of the drain wire out and what's left inside the cable will have sufficient contact with the foil.
