Title: Put labels on my Moreplay controls
Post by: cpditter on September 20, 2022, 02:51:44 PM
Hi:
Maybe others have done this and maybe done it a better way...but I wanted labels on the controls of my completed Moreplay...I used inkjet clear vinyl adhesive 8-1/2 X 11 stock bought on Amazon and printed them on my HP printer.  Then i cut out using an X-acto.  See pic...not perfect, you can tell they are stickers, but not bad I thought for an $8.00 investment in the vinyl stock.

Since I painted my chassis I thought about trying waterslide decals like the ones used in model kits.  The decals kind of dissolve into the paint and the print is only visible, then seal them in with a gloss or matte finish.  You can buy blank sheets and use an ink jet printer to make them or order custom pre-made ones.  Waterslide decals may work on an unfinished aluminum case if you spray it with a matte or gloss finish first.
