Title: help requested: no sound

I have finished building my Crack amp only to find that there's no sound whatsoever (in either channel), not even any hum or static. Zero, as if the headphones were unplugged (they weren't).

I rechecked my soldering and everything appears to be fine. The tubes warm up and glow, I just get no sound.

Could a whole part be broken? I'm also thinking maybe there is some proper way to solder the rca jacks -- I put the wires in and made sure there was contact at the rim, then filled the hole with solder. Am I doing something wrong? What are the possible problems?

Lowell,

The first question here is going to be what was the results of your resistance and voltage checks?

You need only to post those that were wrong by more than 15%.
