Title: PN 2907A transistor replacement - another noob question.

Welp, installed one of mine facing the wrong way, voltage checks of course failed…

Butchered the little bugger getting it out (long story).

Would it be ok to source a replacement PN2907A from another parts supplier…and not from Bottlehead?

I am transistor illiterate :)

Also, is there any difference between 2907 and 2907A transistors?

Either one should work fine, and they aren't all that hard to find.

Sourced some locally today, hopefully, this is my only bumb in the road.

Also, it is a testament to you and the folks in this forum that keep us Bottleheads keepin' on.

I thought long and hard about attempting a build on my own, but the support of the forum and folks like yourself make it work for rookies like myself.
