With my big horns the effect of demagnetization of the core nickels in my amps was noticeable but subtle. There was an improvement after 30 or so but the system was enjoyable from the start. With the much less efficient WE speakers the effect is extreme. The amps do sound bad the first 30 minutes. Maybe the magnetization doesn't affect low signals as much as it affects higher level ones?
