Title: Dimension checks

I've pre-ordered a Smash kit. I plan to make a base & turn some knobs in the time between now & when it ships.

If I read correctly, the plate is 10" x 10" - correct?

Can someone tell me the diameter of the pot shafts?

Yes, the base plate is indeed a 10x10.

The pot shafts are 1/4".

Have fun making the knobs!

Lathes are fun, you just hold the tools or sandpaper & the lathe does all the work.

Did a set for my Stereomour - turned out quite nice.

I don't think that my friend that builds 1.2 meter diameter horns in his self built lathe agrees!
