Just finished assembling the Quickstand, hooked it up to a portable CD player and a pair of JBL L19 speakers, In my work shop it sounds fantastic, very detailed sound. This amp even made my test speakers (Minimus 7's) sound good! Only had one problem, one of the RCA input jack had stripped threads, I grabbed a replacement from a Foreplay kit that hasn't been built.

Hooked up Quicksand to my Quickie, Marantz CD player to a pair of ADS L470/2 speakers. It has a very clean quality of sound, no harshness in the highs, bass has a nice quality, great separation between the channels and best of all I assembled it. If I was on a limited budget I would be perfectly happy with this set up. As always Bottlehead has another winner at a fantastic price!!!

I will be demonstrating the Quicksand and Quickie set up at the NorCal Audio Group show in October. I will also be demonstrating SEX 2.1 and the power cord.
