Title: First Crackatwoas out the door!
Post by: Doc B. on October 08, 2015, 04:22:11 PM
Josh got the first run of the Crackatwoas packed and shipped today. That means I have to follow through and increase the special pre-release price of $599 to the regular retail price of $699. I'm going to drag my feet just a little and let folks take advantage of the pre-release price through the weekend. On Monday it goes up!

It's always a good day when I get a shipping notification email from Bottlehead!

Yeah, it's a beastly transformer!  I don't even think that the stock Crack plate could handle the weight of the PT-8.

I probably won't start assembling for a few days till midterms are over (and graded), but I'm going through the manual and have to comment that it is a thing of beauty.  All my Bottlehead kit manuals have been great, but this one takes it to the next level.  I really appreciate the interim checks during assembly.

Any impressions about Crack-a-two-a vs Crack (Speedball) out there? Would love to read some.
