Title: Actual Stereomour Input Impedance?
Post by: ebag4 on October 25, 2015, 05:04:30 AM
Hi Guys, I have a question that I thought I had found the answer to a while back.  After I had been running my Stereomour for a while I decided to hi-pass the signal to it by adding a in line capacitor.  At that time I found a spec that indicated the input impedance of the Stereomour was 249K.  More recently I noted that the input impedance of the Stereomour II is 50K, this got me wondering why the Stereomour was so high.  I started googling and found some contradictory information stating that the Stereomour has a 100K input impedance.

My Stereomour was built without the volume control, in its place are a pair of 100K Caddock resistors.  Can someone tell me what the actual input impedance of my Stereomour is?

Thanks guys,
Ed

100K.

(The Paramour and Paramour II were 249K)
