Hello,

I have had my Crack w/speedball for quite some time now and use it with 250 and 600 Ohm Beyer T90's and T1's mostly. I really do not use many other headphones with it, due to the OTL is made for higher impedance cans etc..

I looking to get another head amp in the near future and while reading reviews on line the crack always seems to come up as a great amp, good reference point to listen to etc...I read where some people have had good results with lower impedance cans with the crack as long as they are sensitive dynamic drivers...they mentioned several heaphones and one was the Audio Technica ATH M50's....at 32 ohms! ( and 99db sens).

Well I have a set of those and hardly use them at all anymore, but I just plugged them into my crack and was floored at how well these tired old
50's work with the crack.

I went thru all my favorites, Limehouse Blues, Biana Krall, Cowboy Junkies, lots of jazz etc..and they all sound pretty good.

This surprised me and voila, made me smile!
