Literal bells and proverbial whistles

Does the SEX kit include bells/covers for the chokes mounted on top of the SEX?
If not, is it possible to buy that somewhere or?

The covers are now included on the SEX, Stereomour, and Kaiju plate chokes.

Great!
While we're on the subject.
If I want to spraypaint them, is it a good idea to give them a quick do-over with some sandpaper?

Yes, whenever you paint you want to give the surface some tooth for the paint to cling to, and you also want to degrease it with a light wipe of something like lacquer thinner.

I don't suppose those (bell ends) are retrofittable? I'm thinking not, looks like they're held in place by the channel frames - I imagine PB meant the chokes now have them incorporated right out of the box. But those covered chokes sure look nice...

The end bells are not retrofit-able. They are placed on the lamstack and then the channel frames are pressed over them.

So they can be spray painted without risking paint leaking inside?
Maybe that’s no a big concern anyway?

Yes, you can paint them. They have been dipped in varnish already.
