Rectifier lead cut too short

I misread the directions and cut the 3rd rectifier lead so that only 1/4” remained past the body instead of past the bend. Did I cut the leads too short for it to matter? I’m afraid to proceed.

Hello there,
I think you may need to get another uf4007 diode.
Having said that you could take a couple of trimmed diode leads and twist them around the stubs on that diode and solder them.
If you do not feel confident doing this, diodes of this type are cheap.
or Perhaps give Bottlehead a call and I'm sure they can hook you up.
