Just received a package from my friendly postal officer yesterday.

I must admit, my kit came faster than I expected, and was very pleased by the safe packaging of the SEX kit! A shoutout to Doc and Eileen for their great service. They even entertained my request to draw a cat on the box :) A shame that the post office decided to paste a sticker over part of it

Hope to slowly get this assembled!

Thanks for the kind words, Darkblade. It is really cool to see our customers happy with the ship times. We've been working really hard at refining our process to cut down the lead time and so far we have been able to maintain the pace. Thankfully Eileen is here to double check my sometimes questionable counting ability.

Using my nearly 6 decade x-ray vision through the bubble wrap I see that you got Sylvania 6FJ7's which are my favorite. Especially the black plates. Enjoy the build.

Well, it is mentioned on the product page that the 6FJ7's are used now, rather than the 6DN7's  ;)

I have yet to even unpack everything so far! I'm gave the PDF manual a thorough read first, and am now slowly working through the BOM to ensure I know what everything is before I start!

I was referring to the Sylvania brand name. I know the FJ replaced the DN when S.E.X. v3 came out. I have both. Unlike other tube variants there isn't a lot of difference in sound between 6DN7 or 6FJ7 brands. But the Sylvania black plates do a little better at picking out details in the music. It's not a lot but it is audible. At least to my ears anyway.
