Please don't put a 13A fuse in the Crack.

You need an IEC power cord for the Crack, that's about the end of the story.  If you get one rated for 13A, that means you can safely draw 13A through the cable.

If you put a 13A fuse in the Crack and you make a mistake in the wiring, you'll very likely destroy the amp rather than allowing the fuse we provide you to blow.

Sorry misunderstanding, I thought I had to buy a UK lead, (thinking it wasn't supplied) I thought I would buy a 13 amp rated lead then put either 3, 5, 13 amp fuse in, whichever was recommended.

Maybe my question should have been, which fuse would you recommend.

The 1A fuse for the amp is supplied with it and it is installed inside the power entry module on the amp. You could use either a 3A or 13A type G/IEC power lead to plug into that module. The 1A fuse in the amp will blow before the fuse in the power lead and protect it if anything goes wrong.

Every mains leads you buy here, or that come with any computer will have .75mm wire at a minimum, and either a 10a or 13a fuse.  Just seems to be a standard, or somebody would buy a 1amp rated cable and plug it into their kettle.

The device itself should have an appropriately rated fuse for its application, i.e. the 1amp fuse in the IEC socket.
