I don't have the screwdriver to open them to get to the driver so I can't do that until I get one sorry.

Ooh thanks for the graphic, both resistances measure around 550 ohms.  What should I be looking for here?

If the DCR of the drivers is approximately equal, you might want to take them apart a bit and look for debris in the driver that's misbehaving.

Okay, so equal means that there isn't a problem with the sound output?  I resoldered all the joints as well but I can post pictures if that still might be of concern.

Do you have anything else you can plug the cans into? CD player with a headphone jack? If no, maybe you could walk them down to a local electrical goods store and plug them into something there.
