Last night I installed the small pcb. I could hear the improvement instantly. Tonight I installed the larger board. I am using the Drop/Sennheiser HD6xx headphone that Doc suggested to me. Listening to The James Taylor Quartet (no,not that one, the British one) and their compilation Hammond A Go Go The Best of Acid Jazz. All I can say is whoa!
If you are on the fence about the Speedball upgrade, forget about it and just do it. You will not be disappointed.
After having some issues building the Crack, I had no issues at all with the Speedball. Great instructions and a fun build.
All that’s left is for me to stain the base. I’llpost pictures when it’s done.
