Cheers, nice build,
I've also embedded Khadas, but vertically and using half of the third-party chassis for RF isolation. I've also put the coax out. I use Raspberry+Roon on USB, and my computer on coax.
The drawback of this design - heat from the Crack's chassis travels towardas Khadas, let's ee how it can deal with it. It is hot, but I can hold my hand on Khadas chips, so it should roughly be 70C.
Khadas is amazing, I cannot blind test distinguish it with any other DACs I have - Klipch Heritage Amp/DAC and SMSL M500. I have a switch to verify this statement
. I like how it autoswitches between USB and coax. Also this setup potentially allows me to plug linear power supply to Khadas and use only coax for data if I want.
