Hello all! I have a question about the length of a diodes leads that connects 19L and 21L. It says in the manual to bend the leads 5/8" from the body of the diode. That seems to leave it too long to be able to insert into the holes. Is this maybe a minor discrepancy? I just don't want to fry anything by putting it in the wrong place. Thanks much in advance.

You can bend them in a little bit and use that spring tension to hold the diode in place while you're soldering, or you can reduce the bend distance to 9/16".

I'm sorry, I'm still a bit confused. Does this look okay? I left the leads just in case.

Bend the wire ends fully round the tags to make a proper mechanical joint before final soldering. Trim off any excess length of lead e.g. diodes.
Fully heat a joint and allow the solder to flow properly before quickly removing the iron. No touch up dabbing!
