I bought a set of Sennheiser HD800S and am pretty sure they'll be my go-forward headphones for the Mainline. Someone suggested a passive filter to round out the higher frequencies and improve the low-end, and the manufacturer of that cable adapter listed 50 ohms of output impedance from the amp as the max that would work. I looked at the product documentation and didn't see the amp's output resistance listed. Might have missed it someplace!

Here's the cable adapter I'm talking about: https://diyaudioheaven.wordpress.com/headphones/passive-filters/

You'll just want to have the Mainline on the low setting for using a filter like that.
