Hi,

I am building the mainline. In one of the step it says:

"Insert the leads of a 100KΩ 3W resistor (brown, black, yellow, gold) into the R2 position on the A side of the board."

I cannot find this exact resister. Instead, what I found is a purple looking resister that says "100KΩ.J".

Question is can I use this resistor instead of the "brown, black, yellow, gold" as indicated in the manual? The specs seems to match but I am not sure about the 3W.

Thanks.

Yes, that is the currently supplied 100K 3W resistor for that kit.
