Measuring low voltage at IEC [resolved]

I got to the step where you measure AC Voltage but the voltage is not really changing when the amp is plugged in and the switch is turned on. It consistently measures 0.3 volts. I included pictures of my soldering below. Thanks.

By the way the fuse is in the socket. Power cable use works on my amp and other devices connected to outlet work and are on.

Here is a picture of how my multimeter is set. In the pic its not connected to anything.

Yup. I measured resistance across the fuse too and its 0.4 ohm so i think its ok.

I attached  how I have the leads connected (via alligator clips).

You might try just using the probes without the clip leads.  Sometimes you get a clip lead that just doesn't work.  Also be sure the fuse is in the small clip, not the hollow square tube.

I believe there is a spare fuse holder section and the section that puts it in the circuit. You might have the fuse in the wrong place.  That is how the fuse holder used to be anyway.

Oh my god I think I have it in the fuse holder compartment, ill try to put it in the other section.
