Eros Tape Preamp Wanted

Hi Everyone,

First time posted in this forum.

I am located in Australia and have an open detailed horn system that loves all things valves. I have recently been given as payment for some work a mint TEAC reel to reel tape player model A-3300SX 2T that sounds very nice. In exploring some pre recorded tapes i would like to buy, i have noticed that the ones i want are all IEC equalisation and my machine is NAB.

Therefore, i have subsequently discovered this Eros Tape preamp as a fantastic add on solution considering the TEAC tape head wires will simply directly plug in as they already have RCA plugs on them.

I can't find the Eros Tape pre amplifier kit in the Bottlehead website - is it still available?

Currently we only offer the Tube Repro finished preamp. The number of people interested in the tape preamp kit was, as you can imagine, pretty small. When we revamped the Eros phono preamp we decided that we should probably give some other new kits priority over a needed revamp of the Eros tape head preamp. We have at least three other kits ahead of that redo, so it may be a while before we get to it.
