Hello all,

Yet another quickie was born! Thank you Eileen for providing the right manuals so I could recreate this project on my own. Using Old Crack base for now until right materials come it. Its a wonderful project to make with kids (no 500V B+!) and a great learning opportunity. After doing one on my own, I value the job Bottlehead team is doing much more.

Awwww!
Love it!
It would be great if the good ol' Quickie could be released "copyleft" for everybody.
Like a "free sample" for the great quality of Bottlehead's kit.
It was my first kit, bought second hand and heavily modded, still loving it!

PJ has released the design to the public domain, you can build as many as you'd like.

Really? So nice from you! Is it available on tour website?

I think if you wanted more than the schematic, you'd have to purchase a manual.  I think PJ has posted a schematic somewhere, though I'm not seeing it with a cursory search.

Here's the original schematic. The later version 1.1 is the same circuit with a slight change in the switches; the original used two DPDT switches and is easier to follow from the schematic. As you can see, it is not a complicated design(!)

The manual is still owned/copyrighted by Bottlehead, and is (I think) still available for $15.
