Purchasing without wood base?

I came across this amp the other day and I am interested in building it.
Is there an option to purchase it without the wood base? I will probably end up building my own wood enclosure for it.

Whether or not you use the wooden base after your build is really not all that material.  More important is the fact that the base substantially facilitates the building process.

Of course, as in all things, YMMV.
