I'm playing around with upgrading the output capacitors in the Moreplay.  The V Cap ODAMs I am going to use have a short lead that connects to the outer foil and the guidance is "The short lead indicates the outermost foil and should be connected to the lowest impedance path to ground."  But other guidance for capacitors I've seen would suggest that the outer foil should connect towards the source, i.e the tube.  Does anybody have an opinion about what orientation would be best?

The plate of the tube IS the lowest impedance to ground - about 2500 ohms, compared to the 10,000 ohms of the volume control.

The volume control is on the output of the circuit in this design?

So, which way did you put them?
