OK, maybe being silly here but...
Have a crap-load of 6DJ8/6922 tube types including some NOS HP and Tektronix in sealed cardboard tubes and a crap load of pulls(that can be noisy if used in old test equipment that ran the crap out of them.
Most test new or near NOS but who knows about noise?
Even have a hand full of Siemens CCa types.
OTOH, haven't seen the schematic so it might be a case where the 6DJ8 tube's operation is so rigidly controlled bu SS sources, loads and regulation that tube version/type/brand matters not to the sound?
I've found that 'tube rolling' in a lot of Bottlehead gear (especially after lots of upgrades) doesn't produce a lot of variation in sound.
That said, EML mesh 2A3s sound pretty darned good in my MonAmours.
