Hi,
I’m building an Eros 2 and am having trouble with the power supply voltage. I’m hoping to get some troubleshooting help.

the power supply board is built and i’m doing the power supply test (pg 40).
i’m getting a voltage reading that is too high at the 6.3v solder pads
readings:
11.67 vdc at the 6.3v solder pads
377 vdc at the 275 v solder pads.
I’ve checked the build a few times and everything seems ok, same goes for solder joints.

I’m not sure what to look for next,  any suggestions?.. Thanks!!

Can you post some photos of your build so far?  If possible, seeing the top and bottom of the power supply board would be helpful.

I would reheat all of the joints on that board and add a little bit more solder.  You can leave the iron on each joint for 5-10 seconds to let it flow out, though I might not do that with the little 10uF yellow tantalum caps.

yep, that fixed it. I should've been able to figure that one out on my own.
I'm getting 6.3 and 380 on the tests now. Thank you so much for the advice, the 5-10 second tip was super helpful!
