Completed assembly this evening. All resistance checks were in tolerance, so I powered it up.
No smoke or explosions and all voltages checked out.
So, plugged it in to my vintage Onkyo A7 and spun up a record.
Initial impression is positive, and the Eros does have a higher output level than I was expecting. Which should be a good thing when my Stereormour arrives (soon I hope).
With it being late, I did not listen very long, and hope to give it a more critical listen in the next few days.
The build was fairly simple compared to a couple of my other previous projects and I only made one mistake early on that I had to correct.
Looking forward to many hours of listening to this new system, especially once I get the Stereomour.
