The light generator idea has run amuck! Now I'm looking into some sort of holographic image generator that will provide a subtle light referenced to frequency output. Similar to the way iTunes uses their visualizer. Just want to tie those technologies together. Crazy or interesting?

Back about the mid 70s Infinity Systems of Chattworth Ca. had a "Laser Monolumia."  I don't think they produced more than a hundred and I know of none that survived.  They were less reliable than their electrostatic speakers.

Red Rider.

Are you thinking along the line of Princess Leia projected in the middle of the room?
That would be cool.

Red Rider from "As far as Siam" (81').  Good call Randall.
Now the princess is always a good idea!
Thanks for playing,
John

I built something like that years ago, it had real Galvos. I used to take it to Folk fest's and stuff. Shine it into the smokey haze and mike the band...John

OK, I tend to think along the lo-tek, cheap, and easy line.  I'm thinking that the overall effect can be had with some well placed black lights and some cheap posters like that Escher one with the lizzard in the 3-D icosahedron and the couple standing on that big mountain.  It got me through the 70's.

Worth a try and won't cost that much.

As I tell my Algebra II students:  I'm really trying to be more facetious and less sarcastic.  Have fun whatever you decide to do.
