Good thread.Using an older Macbook with AppleTV2 or straight to the DAC with Bitperfect.  Would like to move to a Mini.  Strange also looking to get back in to vinyl..........

Ok, I've just posted the first in this series on selecting and configuring a Mac Mini for music playback:

This first is juast a basic starting point and next I'll jump into things like memory, internal and external hard drives, interface considerations, and playback software choices.  AAnd next I'll go a bit deeper into system tweaks to maximize performance, and then finally, a summary and where to go for ultimate tweaks, power supplies, etc.
