This is the main reason why I purchased a new IPad; a remote for my Windows music server.  It took less than 10 minutes for this chemo brain to get it up and running.  Highly recommended and easy to install, just follow the instruction on the JRemote web site.

Cordially,

I use mine to control my squeezebox, some folks use their Iphones but I prefer the big screen of the Ipad. I also use mine for most of my net surfing, it is great for that, except the fact that it does not support Flash.

Cheers,
Shawn

I too use a remote app on my iPad, to control whatever is playing on my iMac in the other room. This has resulted in the SACD player gathering dust, especially since more and more titles are available in high-rez on HD Tracks. The iMac is connected to my Bottlehead gear via an HRT Music Streamer II through a very long, powered USB cable. I had a Squeezebox Touch for a while and it did the same thing, but I didn't care for the analog outs on the Touch when compared to the HRT (let alone, a proper DAC). While my iPhone also has the same app, it's harder to see on that tiny screen!
