Here is a sneek peak of the cabinet I'm working on. I'm still trying to decide which veneer I'm going to cover it with.

The bit directly underneath looks reasonably nice.
And it looks like you already have it at home... so no need to shell out extra bucks...  and you'd have some left over for the next piece so you could match the quickie with other pieces so it's got that going for it...

but in seriousness, that's a great form. Is it wood?

System1: Jadis Eurythmies, Jadis JP-80, ZYX Artisan, Denon DP-100 (and others)
System2: Altec Model19s, EAR 859, Diatone LT-1, Sony SDC-777ES
currently replacing System2 electronics with BH Paramounts, FP3, Eros.
Listening Wear: BH baseball cap, obviously...

I decided to go with some Brazilian rosewood that I've had in the garage. Some preban stuff left over from some DIY corner horns I did years ago. It is the same stuff I used on a Foreplay that had the black side posts/legs.

The Quickie is stock except for the aluminum volume knob and some button allen head bolts I used in place of the slotted one in the kit.
