We are finally getting caught up on the tremendous amount of orders we received this summer. So it's time to get around to planning some more events at this cool facility we have been in for (I can't believe it) two years.

Here's what's coming up in October -

Friday, October 5th, 5-7 p.m. - Listening Session
For the first hour we will be playing the Tape Project reissue of Jimmy Smith's classic, The Sermon on our reference system. The second hour will be open for playing anything anyone who wants to bring, CDs or LPs.

Friday, October 12th, 5-7 p.m. - Test Drive
We will have a Bottlehead Tode guitar amp set up in our listening room. Bring your favorite axe and give this sweet little studio combo amp a spin!

Saturday, October 27th, 1-4 p.m. - Class - Basic tube electronics and schematic reading
This is a class for tube newbs, that will cover in laymen's terms how tubes and other electronic components work in a circuit, and how to relate those parts to the hieroglyphics used in schematics. Tuition is $35 and the class size is limited to 12 students. Contact Eileen at [email protected] to reserve a seat.

All events are at Bottleheadquarters, 9415 Coppertop Loop NE, Suite 101, Bainbridge Island WA, 98110. We're in the same building as the brewery, at the opposite end. 205-451-4275

We ran out of Todes so I am forced to postpone our Tode test drive session until we have another demo amp built. I think that in the not too distant future we will have a contest for guitarists. We will video the contestants playing their choice of guitar through a Tode. The performance judged as best will earn that player a Tode kit. We will post the best of the performances on YouTube and our web page.
